could not connect til mail server lavabit.com; the connection was refused

My Thunderbird regularly does not connect to lavabit.com. Normally it is 11 AM GMT +1 and it lasts for about 20 min. Today it wont reconnect. I can login into lavabit.com with my credentials. I connected yesterday, so no problem there. Win 10, imap.lavabit.com port 143 STARTTLS, smtp.lavabit.com 587

Make sure your antivirus or firewall is not blocking the outgoing connection

Why should it block it for 20 min ...and sometimes longer? Im not sure how to check that...I mean it works the reminding 23hr and 40 min (except for today)

Sounds like Windows and/or other programs are doing an update on your computer or perhaps performing auto backups. Suggest you check your computer schedules to see what is set to occur at that time.
