I can't send gmail in Thunderbird
I recently found that when I try to send email in Thunderbird using my gmail account, I get a notice that cookies are disabled, and I need to enable? This only happens on 1 of my 4 accounts. The other gmails do just fine (except I can't sign into gmail anymore on any of them). I can receive but not send. I tried adding the different imap addresses in my "allow cookie" and it still won't work. Now before someone says to clear cookies and cache, and try again, I did many many times. What got me to notice this is because these emails are rarely used, and gmail is blocking me for some dumb reason.

Sorry, forgot to mention the notice comes from google and not Thunderbird/Firefox.
Thunderbird uses oAuth to connect to gmail, their preferred and only long term option for access. it is that is enable the less secure apps setting on gmails web settings until they remove the option entirely which they have been threatening to do for some time. Yahoo are making serious inroads on that, so expect google to be right behind them.
oAuth requires you to enable cookies as the authentication process is a web technology that uses multiple "web page dialogs" which are served by Google and linked with cookies. I am sure there is a magic recipe of exceptions that you can use, but unless you are using RSS feeds, cookies are fairly innocuous in a mail setting. See

It only happens on 1 of my emails, not all. I was playing around yesterday and found that if I forward the gmail email to my isp email, it would work sometimes. But how do I enable cookies as asked to comply? I tried to upload the notice but it won't show in the browse screen?
Got it. I clicked your link to exceptions and did that. Thank you, but on an unrelated ? why can I send email back and forth using Thunderbird and gmail emails, but can't physically sign into gmail to delete all that stuff?
