Hello catrose,

Apparantly the new tab page is your home page - should you want to see another page at startup (Firefox opens your home page at startup); you can set it to any page you like, see this article :

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-to-set-the-home-page

Back to your question :

The Amazon thumbnail you see listed on the new tab page, is indeed the Amazon search engine. You can change that and set it to Amazon.com (or any other page) :

Hover over the upper right corner of the thumbail till you see three little dots appear, and click on it. Then click on "Edit"; remove that URL and replace it with the URL of your choice.

You can set any page as one of Top Sites on the new tab page that way.
