SMTP server times out on mail.twc.com. TBird 68.2.1

Outgoing settings are correct and tested using other clients. Using IMAP. Recent occurance, been using TBird for years. Windows 10. Status bar and message box shows connected to the server mail.twc.com. Runs for a couple of minutes before timing out. Same message transmits fine using other (Gmail) outbound account.
