Do you mean your recipients are telling you they are getting two emails of everything you send to everybody ?

Or do you mean you are see two copies in the Sent folder ?

Yahoo is automatically putting copies of sent mail in the 'Inbox' if you use POP. This means anyone using pop in Thunderbird and then chooses to use webmail, will be able to see copy of their sent emails.

If you are using imap then maybe yahoo is auto putting a copy in the 'Sent' folder. As you may have Thunderbird putting a copy in Sent, this could result in two copies in Sent.

If you mean you are see two copies in the Sent folder: Suggest you stop Thunderbird from adding a copy. Then send a test email and see if that fixes the issue. uncheck 'Place a copy in' in the Copies & Folders section of Account Settings for each yahoo account.

Hello

Hope you are good + thank you so much for sparing the time to support me with this !

I campaign + send to many individuals who represent us ...

I do this to try to start a dialogue + bring about +ve change where I know it is obviously needed ...

When I send to my "bigwigs" group I get two automated responses back in my INBOX from some people on the BIGWIGS list , so from this I assume the message is being sent twice !

Any thoughts welcome ...

In love + solidarity Wendy

Since about the last week in October 2019, this has been happening for me, too... and no changes have been made to my Thunderbird settings.

I happens whenever the email gets auto-saved, or when a draft is edited... on send, TWO emails appear in my Thunderbird sent folder, and TWO emails are sent to the recipient.

Please help!
