Mozilla hello, and HELP!

Forgive the stupidity but I have a burning question.

iOS his has two of “YOUR” browsers as downloads. My question is one fake? Or do they do different things, I can find nothing on your site, but what is information for selling the service.

The browsers are

Firefox: Private, Safe Browser And the Firefox Focus: Privacy Browser

They both claim to be from Mozilla, development done by Mozilla and others, but on your main website for iOS you only show the Firefox Focus.

Please can someone answer this?

It also appears one is a year older than the other but both very recently updated according to the iOS store.

Focus in 2019 updated 1 mo ago

Private in 2018 updated 1 w ago

Is one better? Are they both yours, if so why two, it’s al so confusing to the non tech person.

I want the most secure and private blocking most everything Browser I can find, and with the news from Germany, go go Mozilla ;~))

You can contact me at - govconcerns@protonmail.ch

Any questions you may have I will gladly address.

Again thankfully

The App Store is extremely strict in regards to what can and can’t be listed on the platform. Every app must provide the valid certification keys required by Apple, along with verifiable timestamps with signature. Also, multiple hash algorithms must be given and those are cross checked for integrity purposes.

Why two? What one is best? Again why 2 if both are legit, does one do something that the other doesn’t?

I love bots. Three replies exactly the same. And incorrect! The iOS store has pulled more apps than I can count after they were in the store for months or more. Have the perfect bot get the facts correct please. I’m talking about Firefox Focus and Firefox Private. And to drive coders crazy the bot makes the iOS store sound so perfect never a bad problem or app but we all know better they have I believe over a hundred that have been pulled I had a few for several months and two for over six that were just copying the real app but were really trogens. Therefore new phone can’t trust the old one. That’s why the question. Let the bot figure out this complex mess of words.

To see what Firefox Focus is about over the more regular Firefox browser for iOS at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/focus

Due to Apple's restrictions on what browser and javascript engines can be used the browsers that Mozilla has for iOS are essentially shells and not full browsers like on Android and desktop.

Not a bot, just so you know ;) as the person who replied could have had loading issues and clicked on post reply three times.
