What application created this CSV file ?

You might be able to import the logins if you convert the CSV file to a JSON file.

First you may have to convert your CSV files into a JSON array. There are bunch of online services to do that.

CSV to Json : https://www.csvjson.com/csv2json

Then you can import them via FireFox's default importing feature.

- Press Ctrl+Shift+B. This will open your 'Library' window. - Then, Import and Backup > Restore > Choose File

- After that you can just select and upload your generated JSON file. - Firefox will import all details from that JSON file.

Hope this helps!

JSON file does not contain passwords!

You need to convert a CSV file with hostname and username and password columns to an array of JSON name/key values ([{"username":"xxx","password":"xxx","hostname":"https://"},{more-logins}]).

See:

for example so?: ([{"username":"User","password":"123456qwer","hostname":"https://facebook.com"},{more-logins}])

what is the string for "more logins"?

Reset multiple user account passwords.

Configure Settings that User must change passwords at next logon.
   Set passwords that never expire.
Enable, Disable or Delete users, if their passwords are expired.
Configure that users can't change passwords set by the administrator.

I only posted one example of a valid usenname/password representation.

There can be more such records in this '[{},{},{}]' array with each of them being something like this{"username":"User","password":"123456qwer","hostname":"https://facebook.com"}. See it as a comma separated list of usernames and passwords in JSON format.

You pasted JSON code in the input area on the CSV to JSON converter website. The purpose is to paste the content of the CSV file in taht area, then the website will convert this to JSON and you can compare the result with the code I posted as an example.

You can't import passwords via the Bookmarks Manager (Library). You might be able to do this via "File -> Import From Another Browser", but probably best is to use the Browser Console like I posted in the above linked forum thread.

Note that this needs to be an array enclosed in square brackets: [{login1},{login2}]
