Thunderbird 68.2 envelope icon showing new mail replaced by arrow pointing down to an inbox tray. Tried several on line fix's. nothing seemed to work. Any body with a Dick and Jane explanation please feel free. I know I dated myself but not good at computers. I miss my commodore 64.

I don't think there's an easy way to change the icon, but you can make it persistent by selecting W10 Settings/Personalization/Taskbar/Notification area/'Select which icons appear on the taskbar' and turn the one for TB to On.
