A screen appears that says I must install the flipboard app. This doesn't happen if I use other browsers (e.g., the Samsung browser included on my Galaxy S9+).

Hi

Some websites try to point you to downloading an app if you are using a browser that they do not recognise (or if they are being slightly awkward). From the menu icon, you should see an option to open the page in desktop mode which may help with this issue.

The problem occurs when I try to open Flipboard using Firefox on Android. Note: I'm using the current version of Flipboard for Android (Version 68.0.2) and requesting a desktop site does not help.

Hi

Thank you for coming back us about this issue. All I can think is that the site whitelists some browsers and not others. I think that this is more of a site issue than an issue with Firefox for Android.
