1. I see an option to edit a thread that I created but I do not see an option to delete it.

Can only a moderator delete a thread, even if no one has responded to it, or am I missing something?

2. Is there an option to receive an email notification when someone responds to my thread or is that done by default?

Such e-mail is always sent to the address on file with the website.

Check your user profile at the site. Also, check your junk mail folder.

Go to the top of any support.mozilla.org web page and press your user icon to see your Mozilla profile. Including your questions and answers.

Only a moderator and above can do this.

FredMcD:

The only email setting related to email notification is 'Send emails for private messages.' The other settings are for 'watching.'

Which specific setting needs to be changed?

There should be a "Get email updates" form in the sidebar next to the question. I think that if you are the question owner/creator you automatically will receive an email notification when a reply is posted.

Did you receive an email for the replies in this thread?

Cor-el and FredMcD:

Under 'Question Tools,' it shows 'Stop email updates' so email updates must be turned on and, yes, notifications are being sent to my email account.

I got confused because I thought the option to turn on email notifications was in the settings menu not on the right side of my thread.
