Recovering lost emails after BSOD

Hello, I had a BSOD in Windows 10 while downloading around 80 emails in Thunderbird (I can't remember what version but quite recent if not current - I'm typing this at work) on my home PC on Saturday. After Windows restarted, I went into Thunderbird and found only around 35 emails there; the other 45 or so had vanished. They weren't on my ISP's webmail so I have no idea what has happened to them. I've been in touch with my ISP and am awaiting feedback.

After that, Thunderbird was working OK and downloading emails to my PC again as normal. Later advice I got was that the BSOD problem was related to the anti-virus software, which has since been replaced.

Is there any way the missing emails can be recovered, please?

Thanks, John
