How do I resolve a failed Firefox verification?

I downloaded Firefox, then signed up for an account with my main email account. Then I received the email to verify and clicked the link. The web page opened with this..."Verification Error: Loading chunk 23 failed. (missing: https://accounts-static.cdn.mozilla.net/bundle-0a053c22ba4173eed724fbebfd3f8d1996e5054c/vendors~fxaClient.bundle.js)" This now persists and I am unable to log in with this email address. I have used an alternate email address which did work, but am now unable either to change my email back to the address I want, or add it as an alternate, as it is shown as being in use. I can see no way that I can either complete sign up with my original account nor delete that account to release my email address. Any suggestions?
