This morning, 09/03, Firefox was updated. After that, every time I would open a Facebook game I would be prompted to run Flash Player. Posted on Community, no response. Decided to uninstall/reinstall. Now, everything is F__d'ed up. When I click on any game, all I get is a black window. Also, I've always left two tabs open and when I'm finished on-line, I would click on the red X in the upper right. Then, when I wanted to go back on line, when I click on the Firefox icon in the task bar, both tabs would come up. Now, if I click on the X, I get a warning I'm about to close two tabs. If I click OK, both tabs are closed and when I open Firefox again, they are not there. Getting sick and tired of the problems.

Hi booong,

You can pin tabs :

  1. Right click on the individual tab
  2. Click Pin tab

There could be some compatibility issues with some Extensions you may have. If you have any Extensions enabled you could try to Restart Firefox in Safe Mode and try loading Facebook again.

In your Firefox web browser :

  1. Click the hamburger 3-bar menu in the top right of your web browser
  2. Click Help (?) towards the bottom of the list
  3. Click Restart with Add-ons Disabled...
  4. Click Restart
  5. Choose Start in Safe Mode
  6. Try loading the game on Facebook

Let me know if this helps.

In Firefox 69 you can no longer set Flash to always activate. You only have "Ask to Activate" and disable. See:

Thanks for your reply. Wish I'd known that. Now, because of that update, my PC is no longer useable. Won't go into details. Working with Microsoft to see if there is a solution.

Well, I just installed Firefox again. Once again, it's screwed up. Opened FB, clicked on a game and, guess what? Nothing but a black page and no prompt to run Flash Player. What good is Firefox if I'm unable to play my games? Uninstalling again and will not install anymore. Will continue to use MS Edge. At least IT works.

Flash is supposed to still work in Firefox, but I can reproduce the blank page problem when loading the "New Slot America" Facebook game in Firefox. :(

Here are instructions for configuring your Firefox to auto-run Flash for a list of websites, which could include "https://apps.facebook.com/":
