Why does Firefox drain the battery on a MacBook Pro?

Posted

I am using Firefox 68.0.2 (64-bit) on my MacBook Pro. It drains the battery very very fast - within 15 minutes about 3-4% is used. Is it only me who experiences this or others too are.

Moz is working hard on this issue and it will be better in version 70. See https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/ctca6q/macos_nightly_coreanimation_has_been_enabled_by/
