How do I delete a duplicate e-mail account?
I tried going "to Tools|Account Settings in the main menu." as suggested. I went to Account Settings but when I attempt to do anything beyond opening that window I get a message that says, "An account with this name already exists. Please enter a different account name."

the cursor is blinking in the account name, change it (add a 1 on the end) apply the change.
Now you get no error message about duplicate accounts.
