Does your browser support the two TLS 1.2 cipher suites I posted above that the LES website supports if you check your browser?

   TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256 (0xc02f) ECDH x25519 (eq. 3072 bits RSA) FS 128
   TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (0xc030) ECDH x25519 (eq. 3072 bits RSA) FS

No problem here. The website only supports TLS 1.2 and two acceptable cipher suites (others are weak), so that doesn't leave much choices.

  • TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256 (0xc02f) ECDH x25519 (eq. 3072 bits RSA) FS 128
  • TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (0xc030) ECDH x25519 (eq. 3072 bits RSA) FS

What security software do you have? Some support only a limited set of cipher suites and that can cause problems when they intercept the connection and act as a man-in-the-middle.

You can check the server.

hi, thank you for second tests. The links to Evening Standard and Odeon Cinemas (which I can't open on FB) is rated grade A. However I note both begin with bit.ly. Is this the problem with FB?

Hi, the answer seems to be yes. I'm not very technical I'm afraid. But the link bit.ly seems to be the problem. I only have this issue with Firefox.
