when i type in firefox, all the letters are typed in AT LEAST twice and this only happens on firefox. occasionally it will stop for a couple minutes and i will be able to type normally (like now, it just stopped all of a sudden) but the majority of the time, i can't use the internet efficiently because it looks like i'm slapping my keyboard in order to type. i already tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox but the problem wasn't solved. i'm kind of mad that my keyboard is working all of a sudden but i'm 90% sure it will stop. any ideas on what this could be and how to fix it? i tried to clear all the information stored on the browser like cookies and whatnot to see if i picked it up from a website but that didn't work either. please help this is quite annoying >:/

You can boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect.
