I don't want to have the pop up everytime I go to a website asking me to save the password because I already have a password manager. How do I stop this silliness?

Hi lovehatetech, there's a checkbox for this on the Options page.

  • Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
  • Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
  • Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences
  • Any system: type or paste about:preferences into the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it

In the tiny search box near the top of the page, type login and Firefox should filter to the "Logins and Passwords" section.

Un-check the box for "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites"

Does that work for you?
