Hi jfrey,

Are you using Yahoo as e-mail provider? If not, which one do you use?


Try one of this workarounds:

Set preference mail.strictly_mime to true.

Or setup to send in UTF-8 always: Tools > Options, Display, Fonts & Colors, Advanced, Text Encoding.

Select UTF-8 for outgoing mail and clear "When possible, ...

Lars, I use a local ISP call Northland Communications. I think they use "Google" mail. I would I determine? Also, how do I "Set preference mail.strictly_mime to true." I make the other changes as you suggested and have no joy. Any advice would help. Thank you! jeff

Excuse me!

Would you try this please :

Go to the Configuration Editor (Tools, Options, Advanced, General, Config Editor).

Scroll down to mail.strictly_mime Click on it and change it from "false" to true.
