Firefox Monitor is a service designed to notify you if your email address is found in any data breaches so that you have secure your accounts.

However, you would like to stop your email address from being monitored from the service, you can sign in on the Firefox Monitor page and remove your email address(es) from the service.

If you are getting additional Mozilla newsletters that you would like to unsubscribe from, you can do so using the "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of each email or request the link to view the email preference center page for the email address(es) in question and manage your membership to each Mozilla newsletter.

Hope this helps.

Oh, my apologies. In that case, do the following:

  1. Type about:config in your Firefox address bar
  2. Bypass the security warning (we will be careful)
  3. Right click on any of the preferences listed on the page
  4. Select New
  5. Select Boolean (this means true or false)
  6. Set the preference name to extensions.fxmonitor.enabled
  7. Set the value to false
  8. Restart Firefox

This should disable the builtin system addon for you. See Firefox 62: Firefox Monitor system add-on integration for more information on this feature.

Hope this helps.
