Sync is optional. Your Firefox Sync account has been created when you see the page to add another device. You can close this tab if you do not want or can't add another (mobile) device.

Maybe you could use a bigger internal store for your device. A SD card with a bigger memory load could fix your problem if you can add it to your device. Maybe I could help you.
