And now of course it is working just fine when I am trying it. I installed FireFox yesterday and it hasn't worked up until now. I have been googling and fooling around with things so maybe I fixed it without realizing it, who knows. I've logged out and closed out of the browser program and closed FireFox and reopened it a half dozen times in the last hour showing a co-worker the differences between the browser based program and the stand alone program so maybe it just worked itself out.

Either way, thank you jsher2000 for the help and I'll keep you posted if it reverts back to not working, but fingers crossed you won't hear from me again.

Are you running the current release (Firefox 67), or the Extended Support Release of Firefox 60, or 2019-06-14T01:22:50-07:00jscher2000https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1262005#answer-1230313
Are you running the current release (Firefox 67), or the Extended Support Release of Firefox 60, or a different version?

In Firefox 67, I can't replicate this issue dragging a .docx file from the desktop over Firefox to a new draft Outlook message (file attaches fine when I drop it on the message body area). I tested using both Firefox's about:blank page and a page with one drop zone on it, dragging either over the page alone or over the toolbar area and then the page.

Note: my test was all on one monitor.

Are there other circumstances we need to consider?
