Is there a hard limit on number of saved password for a website?

Posted

I don't get the save password prompt anymore for example.com, I have saved around 5 or more passwords for that. Though, I am getting the prompt for other websites but not for example.com. Is there a limit on the number of apsswords a user can save agaisnt a website?

There's no any limit.

You can check in the Browser Console, if there any error shows up after hitting the login button.

You can possibly temporarily enable password debugging and check the Browser Console.

  • signon.debug = true

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
