HOW do I delete or prevent a pending update for Firefox?
I am currently on Firefox 66.0.5. IF I update to 67, a game I play will be screwed up and I won't be able to play it. I have searched and searched and have about given up. I do not wish to use a different browser. Please tell me there is a way to fix this.
I have a green arrow on the menu box that says "Restart to update Firefox." I just ignore it. When I open Firefox from my shortcuts, it asks me permission for the Firefox installer to change files, etc., but I tell it no. This is becoming tedious. Is there something I can do to get rid of this?
OR can I update it and then downgrade but turn off the updates?
I am told that in about 2 weeks, I will be able to install the latest version so it's not like I'm never going to update. I just need to temporarily stop.
Please advise.
Thank you, in advance, for your help.

You can look in this location in %LocalAppData% for a pending update:
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\updates\0
