Not getting Push notifications
For some reason, I'm not getting any sort of push notifications. I have them enabled but they aren't working whatsoever.
Additional System Details
- User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:66.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/66.0
When you say that you have them enabled, do you mean per site in the Control Center (little 'i' in a circle, at the left end of the address bar) under the Permissions tab ?
Also : in the 3-bar menu => Options => Privacy & Security => under "Permissions" did you uncheck "Block pop-up windows" ?
Would you do this please :
Type in the address bar about:config and press Enter (promise to be careful, if asked)
Type in the search bar notifications
Look for the preference dom.webnotifications.enabled
and set its value to true
(and maybe check other preferences as well)
Then close and restart Firefox.
'Hope this helps .....
Do you see messages in the Web Console about service workers?
- "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Web Developer
You can try to disable "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" if you use this to remove the cookies to see if that has effect.
