Garbage Pop-Up Ads.

Posted

Dear Whomever,

Is it just me, or is anyone else plagued by the problem/annoyance I am having?

I have contacted almighty Firefox on Twitter, but that proved to be a waste of time. In any event, what I am complaining about are pop-up ads which appear in the lower right corner of the webpage that usually have to do with some financial come-on for information regarding a stock or a report of some kind. I thought that this annoyance may have to do with gmail, but as that did not make any sense to me I am strongly suspicious that it has to do with bullshit Firefox and some way for them to make money for their non-profit company.

If anyone may have any feedback about this, I would be most grateful to hear from you.

Respectfully,

Gregory P. Falasz

hi, these may be notifications from a site you've subscribed to (unknowingly or inadvertently). you can go to the firefox options > privacy & security panel, scroll down to the permissions section and next to the notifications click on settings to remove any sites that shouldn't be able to send you push messages.
