Video DownloadHelper Addon - takes forever? no progress bar

I can never tell if the Addon is actually in the process of downloading something. No progress bar. How do I know the download is done, or stuck, or could be made to happen more efficiently by doing something? Anyone have more complete instructions for using this? Yea there is a Google Drive forum, but you have to give up your privacy with a google account, which I will never do.

That would be something you might have to ask the addon developer about their software. Sites don't let you use unless you register with them. And if you have google they will require your google login to use their forum. All sites have this restriction.
