I don't know what you did but Amazon videos stopped functioning in middle of a video. And no your last update didn't fix it.

Hello, Try this to fix it: Menu item Tools > Add-ons (CTRL+Shift+A) For "Widevine Content Decryption Module provided by Google Inc.", click "Never Activate". Then click "Always Activate". If necessary, exit Firefox, then return. See if that works or some combination of clicking, exiting and returning.

If this works, let everyone know here because there's going to be a lot of people with the same question and most don't even know where to turn for help.

Used to work but no longer does. Amazon video works fine in IE, worked fine in FF yesterday now fails with Amazon 7235 error and saying update widevine. Widevine says no new updates when update check is intialized.

I am having the same issue. I can watch videos with chrome, but not with Firefox. I miss using firefox to watch Amazon videos. Help.

Here's the exact error message I get. "Digital Rights Error Your web browser is missing a digital rights component.

In your web browser’s address bar, type about:addons, press Enter, and then on the left, click Plugins. For the Widevine Content Decryption Module, select Always Activate, and then refresh the video’s page and try watching the video.

If the video doesn’t play, go back to Plugins, click the gear icon at the top of the page, and then click Check for Updates. When the plugins have updated, refresh the video’s page, and then try watching the video.

For further assistance, please contact Amazon Customer Service at www.amazon.com/videohelp and refer to error 7235."

I had the same problem last night. I forgot exactly what the error message was, something like "Error Number". After updating FireFox to 68.0.2 it still didn't work. Then in the Add-ons Manager I updated all Plug-ins using the gear icon "Check for Updates". After that it worked.
