Firefox won't download anything

Posted

I'm currently running version 66.0.2 of the Android version of Firefox, and for a while, I was able to download stuff with ease. Until 3 days ago when I started the app, touched an image, selected the "Save As" option, and it did absolutely nothing. What the hell?

Does Firefox have file permissions?

  • Open the Android Settings
  • Tap Applications (Apps in some versions)
  • Find Firefox on the list and tap on it (may need to switch to the all apps view)
  • Tap permissions
  • Enable file, download, or media (name can depend on your version of Android)
