Does TRR on Thunderbird behave exactly as it does on Firefox?

On a tangent, if I use, the Cloudflare's DoH uri, will the special Firefox privacy promises apply to Thunderbird too?

TRR (Trusted Receiver Resolver) might work in TB, as the network.trr preferences are present in Config. editor. But presence doesn't guarantee it works.
