How to turn off slide in notifications on Thunderbird for MAC

Posted

I use Thunderbird for MAC, latest version. Please do not reply unless you use a MAC. This annoying slide in notification banner will NOT go away even when "none" is selected in System Preferences.

Chosen solution

Thunderbird > preferences > General

Customize the "When new messages arrive" settings

Sorry I ignored your directive to not answer if I do not use a MAC. But you will struggle to find someone on this forum that does use and apple desktop or laptop. If you want support from apple users, try and apple forum.
