how can I backup my email files & address book?

Since a normal PC backup doesn't include email files, I need to have a way to backup my emails and address book in case my PC crashes & I need to import the files to either a new PC or my current one.

Or are you talking about Thunderbird? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/products/thunderbird


Note: Your e-mail would remain on your e-mail provider's servers until you delete them.

I am talking about Thunderbird, but the page doesn't address my issue. I need a way to backup my emails & address book so I can retrieve those files in case of a PC failure.
