Hi,

I've installed Thunderbird on a new laptop yesterday and have looked a lot online to try to solve the problem but not found a solution. I have found suggestions that have not worked.

My hotmail account, I installed as IMAP, it downloads all from the junk mail folder, all other folders and contents, but in inbox, only emails within the last few days.

In synchronisation and storage I have "keep messages in all folders..." ticked

Synchronise all messages regardless of age is selected

Don't delete any messages is selected

Always keep starred messages is ticked.

In Advanced, all folders are selected.

Any suggestions where to go from here?

Any help appreciated.
