Firefox frequently completely pauses my laptop when I am running on battery.

When I am using Firefox, and my laptop is not plugged in, Firefox will often cause my computer to pause for 30-90 seconds at a time. It does not depend on the Webpage I am using. I have restarted Firefox in "safe mode" and it still occurs. It has never happened once when plugged in. I have never experienced this problem when running any other program or browser.

To describe the "pause": My mouse is still alive and moves. Clicking in Firefox causes the top bar to say Firefox has stopped responding. I cannot open or switch to any other programs or menus. Ctrl-Alt-Delete and Ctrl-Alt-Esc does not work. Whatever I do during that time will finally execute when the computer un-pauses. I have had the resource monitor open when it happens and nothing unusual shows up. No high CPU, Disk Usage, or Network Usage. The only thing that is consistent is that the CPU usage seems locked at about 25% when it occurs.

This has been happening for many months, but I don't use my laptop often with it unplugged, so I always have just worked around it rather than taking the time to report the problem.

I am on FF 65.0.2 64-bit on a HP Envy x360 Convertable Laptop (I am using it in laptop mode, not tablet mode) with a Intel 8th Gen I7 processor. Win 10 Home.
