How can I delete ghost profiles?

Opening profile manager lists three profiles, two of which are non-existent on my Mac; i.e. one was deleted long ago and another deleted recently.

The profile manager list is drawn from a file named Profiles.ini. I think on the Mac that would be here:

~/Library/Application Support/Firefox

You could try editing that file to remove the nonexistent folders, or you could remove the file and let Firefox rebuild it. Check out this article regarding the latter option:

Hi, just before I saw your reply I found the .ini file - after editing I was able to remove one ghost profile.

I think I should be able to delete the other as well.

Cheers!
