How do I remove duplicate emails on Thunderbird for Macos.
I searched but could only find a Windows add-on. Plus this used to be part of Thunderbird I thought. For some reason I am getting 6 copies of each email.

I included a link in my first reply about installing add-ons.
Tools/Add-ons/Extensions, click the gear icon next to Search, Install Add-on from File..., select the xpi file.

Almost all add-ons work equally well on Windows, OS X and Linux. Did you try this one?

As for why you get multiple copies, can you state the account type, POP or IMAP, and indicate if you have a security/AV program scanning email?
