I keep getting a 'version' error message

Posted

I have been getting the error message every time I try logging into some web sites: https://www.screencast.com/t/MzE0sDvp (I also attached a file with the screenshot.)

I have done a uninstall/clean reinstall several times but the error persists.

Can someone please help?

I am using Windows 10 Home 1809 - most updated version, and have installed the latest version of Firefox - as of today, v65.0.1 - 64 Bit Quantum. (I have always had it on auto update.)

Websites say that Firefox is outdated or incompatible even though it's the latest version https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/websites-say-firefox-outdated-or-incompatible

Thanks... That page reminded me that I have a User Agent switcher add-on. I disabled that, which solved the problem.

Much appreciated.
