Hi, I use lineage OS and it allows me in the settings to be in a sort of "high dpi" screen mode and it shrinks all app layouts and it looks great. In firefox it actually enables a sort of "tablet mode", ie when firefox detects that your screen is large enough it displays the tabs at all time in the menu bar at the top. Otherwise on mobile you have to click on a button to make the tabs appear. So the LOS settings tricks firefox into thinking you have a bigger screen (it causes absolutely no issue whatsoever, there is pixel to spare)

I am looking for a way to do this without lineage os's settings, so is there a way to trick firefox into thinking the screen is bigger to make the tabs always on display ?

I tried looking on reddit, in about:config and addons but to no avail.

Do you have any idea ?

Thanks !

Firefox will use the tablet UI when the "smallest width" of the display is 480dp or more. The display size settings change this value (inversely).

You can use Android's developer options to specify a custom value, like 480.
