I dislike how Firefox treats fullscreen. In explanation, if I'm in fullscreen and access another site I lose fullscreen. Instead, the address and title bars display.

This makes no sense to me. If I'm in fullscreen, I want to stay in fullscreen until I notify the browser otherwise [F11]. In fact, I should be able to access any feature (for instance preferences) and return to fullscreen.

I don't mean to invoke browser wars, but Vivaldi does exactly that. I prefer Firefox as it's open source and not chrome dependent, but how it handles fullscreen is inferior.

But perhaps I don't understand. I access fullscreen with [F11]. Is there another way that makes it persistent? I've researched add-ons without success. And even if such an add-on exists, I would prefer it built in.

Is there a better way to make this suggestion?
