When I look at my account settings, and click server settings, I get this message

local directory "Users/username/Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/profile.default/Mail/mail.email.com" not suitable for message storage

I think things are working fine, but don't want to wake up one morning and find that because I ignored that one thing a long time ago everything is now fubar.

I'm on a Mac, so I looked at another page and it says the correct path is "~/Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/<Profile name>/" which is sort of what I have, but with extra. Mine says "~Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/<Profile name1>/Mail/mail.mydomain-1.com" "~Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/<Profile name1>/Mail/mail.mydomain-2.com" "~Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/<Profile name1>/Mail/mail.mydomain-3.com" "~Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/<Profile name1>/Mail/pop.gmail.com" The fifth one is under it's own profile (I set it up recently) and it does not produce the warning "~Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/<Profile name 2>/Mail/mail.mydomain-1.com"

How do I move the folders without messing up everything on the front end? When I installed Thunderbird eons ago, I let it determine where to put the folders. Anytime I moved to a new computer or operation system, I just copied the profile into the new install of Thunderbird. I haven't chosen where to store these folders.

If I do change the local directory, will Thunderbird move all my files or do I find them missing and have to manually move them to the new location for them to show up on the front end? I'm not sure how I get the first four to be like the 5th one and not have an error. Does every mail address have to have it's own profile?

Post an image showing contents of : ~Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/<Profile name1>/Mail/mail.mydomain-1.com folder. Please make sure the full directory is also visible so we can check all file and folder names.

I didn't expand every folder in the directory. I hope that's ok.

The images show contents of the 'profile name' folder. I was looking for the contents of the actual mail account folder - /mail.mydomain-1.com which is in the 'Mail' folder. because the error message said: mail.email.com" not suitable for message storage

I would aslo be a good idea to post contents of the 'Mail' folder.

The second image is the contents of the actual mail account folder - highlighted in blue. The three images are of the entire profile folder.
