Firefox does not operate correctly with my Cannon PIXMA iX6820 printer?

I am using Firefox web browser on my Ubuntu 18.04 LTS OS. Whenever I have multiple pages to print with my Cannon iX6820 printer it says double sided printing is not available. This is incorrect. There is double sided printing but it is a manual operation in that the printer will print one side of the pages first, you manually turn the pages over, and then it will print the second side. This works okay using my Windows 10 OS with Chrome web browser. How do I get this function to work on Firefox? --Larry

Did you uninstall and reinstall the printer driver again? It sounds like the print driver got messed up or something go changed that wasn't suppose to change.

Okay, I see that this must be an Ubuntu OS problem. I'll check on the Ubuntu Forum. When I look at the DASH > Settings > Devices > Printers it lists iX6800-series, Ready with the Model: Canon iX6800 series - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.2.13. Thanks for your information. --Larry
