That looks more like a screenshot printing then the actual print. How are you doing the print? Steps?

Hi Sweettreatcompany, that's strange!!

What are you printing, exactly? Is this a PDF displayed in Firefox's built-in PDF viewer? If the print icon on its black toolbar doesn't give you good results, you may need to open the PDF outside the browser in a stand-alone program such as Adobe Reader.

If this is from a web page that you are printing, does that appear in print preview before you print? Can you give a link to the page?

If you are first making a selection with the "Capture & Print" add-on (AMO Page), possibly the selection includes an extra image you didn't intend to be in there?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
