Chosen solution

Neither the company Mozilla or the web browser has ever had any form of prizes for expensive phones like iPhone X, Samsung S8 or S9 or a $1000 gift card from somewhere like Amazon.

This is a SCAM where the scammers are hoping to trick people into giving personal details like name, adders, phone#, and money payment details like credit cards (for the so called $1 or $2 shipping).

Since you tried to give your credit card details you should keep an eye on transactions or even contact the card company in case.
