i cannot seem to keep Google from hijacking elementos of my Internet experience

Up front, i think i was computer savvy not so long ago, but I turned 60 a couple years ago, and i have become the computer illiteracy póster child having dethroned my father! Karma maybe....

Anteayer i am getting ready to fly out of San Diego airport haced for New Orleans, and Chile i was in the SD airport. Google prevented me from accessing the internet with Mozilla Firefox as my default browser saying the could not confirm the site's certificate. The guy sitting nexo to me had no problems but he las using Chrome as browser. I had removed Chrome from my homescreen because of other issues (I despise them) so i placed it back on my homescreen, and used it to go online and -- voila! -- no certificate issues! Am i crazy or are the f'ing (that's "fooling" btw) with me to discografía my use of Firefox.
