bookmarks do not show up on bar

more options

Since my update, my bookmarks disappeared. If I click on Bookmarks, then toolbar, I see them. They just aren't showing up at the top bar. I also tried clicking on the books icon to the right, but nothing shows up there, either.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi McMom, is your Bookmarks Toolbar missing completely, or blank?

Missing completely:

To turn different bars on and off, you can use one of these methods to show the toolbar list and select the desired bars there:

  • right-click (on Mac Ctrl+click) a blank spot on the tab bar (or the "+" button)
  • (menu bar) View > Toolbars
On Windows, tap the Alt key to activate the menu bar temporarily.
  • in Customize mode > Toolbars button (see: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars)

To turn on the Bookmarks Toolbar, Menu Bar, or other bars, click it on the list.

Blank Bookmarks Toolbar:

Try using the "Restore Defaults" button on the Customize screen: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.

Any improvement so far?

It's just blank. I also see history is blank, as well. I did try restore defaults, because I also noticed the download icon is gone, but that didn't help.

Thanks for trying.
