Everytime I open something a new version of Firefox opens up

When I open a link or new website a new version of Firefox opens up top be installed. I Have a MacBook Pro and more Firefox logos just pop up.

Hi -

I had this problem a few months ago. I deleted the program from my computer, downloaded the newest version, and re-installed. I have had no further problems with that issue.

Thanks for the reply. I worked with Apple, restarted the system in SAFE mode and things worked OK. We rebooted in normal mode and all was OK. Apple seemed to think that something in the directory was messed up and booting in the safe mode corrected it. Thanks again for your help.
