Following the instructions in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-change-your-default-browser-windows-10 does not produce FF as an option. What now?

Hi, try changing default to IE, then look to see if Firefox is a Option, change it back and check. Restart between.

You can also set default by File Type, which is a fair amount of Files types. But can be done.

Or seek help :

Apparently this is a widespread problem. Trying to use "Set defaults by app" crashes the Settings app, another widespread problem. Maybe MS will fi the bugs someday.

Actually no this is not a widespread problem I have no problem with this as IE by Windows 10 default is what opens up. What you need to do is look at Windows 10 setting to choose the default Browser. Of which at this point goes beyond FF Browser end user help but go to a Window support or Windows forum that you need to ask this question.

I agree this is a MS problem. I had hoped for a workaround.
