FF won't retain the "save passwords" selection. Every time it restarts it must be reselected.
Two week old HP all in one, fresh FF install setup as default. I would like it to remember passwords, etc, but every time I restart I have to go back and re-select that function. All of the passwords are there in the appropriate registry so once re-selected the function performs normally.

You're welcome and thanks for reporting that you had a problem with the Trend Micro password manager.
