Hi all. I'm running Quantum 61.0.2 (64-bit) on openSUSE Tumbleweed. It's a minor problem, but it's a definite annoyance - the Bookmarks Bar does not stay turned on after I reboot my machine. Due to a bit of flakiness on my machine (I do some development and things can get unpredictable), I have to reboot more than I'd like. But I'd also like to keep my Bookmarks Bar open... I have all my reference material bookmarked in the Bar for easy access.

Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this? Some internal setting I can manually change?

Thanks!

Chosen solution

Is this about the Bookmarks Toolbar or about the Bookmarks sidebar?

You can try to rename/remove xulstore.json and if present delete localstore.rdf in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

It was about the Bookmarks Toolbar, not the sidebar.

And it seems to have worked!

Thanks!
