As of today, microsoft silverlight no longer works with firefox ESR. Is there a work-around for this or do I have to use another product?

I've been using Firefox ESR as a work-around for Firefox not working with silverlight for some time now. Today, my browser updated and quit working. I have to use this everyday in my work, so I'm looking for another work-around, is one available? I like the security I feel Firefox has and do not want to use anything else. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

Hi, how soon will you be out of work since only Microsoft now supports it ? Microsoft Silverlight is a deprecated application framework for writing and running rich Internet applications, similar to Adobe Flash.

It shows here your running version 52 so it should run on that.

Are you using the 52.9.0 ESR or the 52.0 Release ?

The 52.0 Release only allows the Flash Player Plugin to run while the Win64 Firefox 52 ESR allows Flash Player and Silverlight to run and the 32-bit 52 ESR allows other NPAPI Plugins to run.
